Terms and Conditions for Sports Festivals

• Approved Age: Students of the primary stage whose age is under 12 years and who are registered in Model Schools up to grade four can participate in Festival Teams.



• Number of Players: A team consists of 12 players (7 regular + 5 reserves ). Ten players must participate in a match, at least one half-time for each player and in the case of fewer substitutes, the team shall play incomplete.



• Time of Match: The time of the match shall be 20 minutes divided into two half-times with a two minute break in between for rest and player substitution.



• Field Measurement: Length is 45 meters and width is 30 meters. The goal zone is 3 meters and the penalty zone is 8 meters. The penalty point is at 7 meters distance from half of the goal line between the two goal posts. The goal is 5 meters long and the post is 2 meters high.

• Members of the Team: The team shall consist of 12 players, 10 at the minimum. The ten players shall have actually participated in the match by the end of the third period of the match provided that each player’s participation is not less than one full period.
  
  In case a team is less than 10 players, the following shall be followed:
  • (9) players, the team shall play the second period with 4 players
  • (8) players. The team shall play the second period with 3 players



• Time of the Match: The time allocated for the match is 20 minutes divided into two half-times and each half-time is divided into two periods; each period is 5 minutes long with one minute break. In case of a tie, the match shall be extended for one more half-time that lasts for three minutes. In any other case, the international law of the game shall be applied.
  
  Participation shall be restricted to students who are 12 years old or below in the primary stage category and to those students who are registered in grade 4 in the Model Schools.

• Number of Players: The team shall consist of 12 players (7 regular) at the beginning of the match provided that the other 5 players will participate as follows:
  • Teams shall involve (2) players from the reserves in the first five minutes of the second half-time of the match.
  • In case the team has no reserves, the team shall play incomplete for the last five minutes in the second half-time.



• Time of the Match: Time of the match will be 20 minutes divided into two half-times with 2 minutes break.



• Participation shall be restricted to students who are 12 years old or below in the primary stage category and to those students who are registered in grade 4 in the Model Schools.

• The team shall consist of 12 players and minimally 8.



• Four players shall participate in the match given that by the end of the second half-time of the match 8 players shall have participated; on average at least one half-time for each player.
  
  In case a team comes with a number of players less than acceptable, the following shall be followed:
  • (7) players: the team plays the entire second half-time of the match with 3 players.
  • (6) players: the team plays the entire second half-time of the match with 2 players
  • (5) players: the team plays the first half-time of the match and the team shall be deemed defeated.



• The match consists of three half-times, the team that wins two half-times is the winning team. Every half-time consists of 15 points.



• Participation shall be restricted to students who are 12 years old or below in the primary stage category and to those students who are registered in grade 4 in the Model Schools.
